EVENT UPDATES FROM THE CHAMBER
The Randolph County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that our postponed events due to COVID-19 are being rescheduled. It is with must enthusiasm, that we announce and begin our schedule of events for Summer and Fall. In keeping with recommendations and guidelines from Governor Ivy and the Alabama Dept. of Public Health regarding large public events, the Chamber made the decision to postpone all events beginning with the 30th Annual Professional Women’s Luncheon in March.
The Chamber will start-off with the 4th Annual Men’s Business Lunch on Thursday, July 9th at 12:00 pm at the Woodland Area Civic Club Pavilion in Woodland, Alabama. The charge for the lunch meal is $5.00 per person. Reservations and tickets can be purchased through the Chamber office at 334-863-1402.
The 12th Annual Summer on Main Festival and Concert is scheduled for October 3rd in Downtown Roanoke. The festival will feature talented Handcrafters, Artists, Antique, Community and Commercial Street Market Vendors. The Kids Zone will feature all types of activities for children. Vendors space is free. The talented Soul Tymes Nine will be in concert in the Main Street Theatre at 7:00pm. For more information and questions, please contact the Chamber office at 334-863-1402.
Currently, the 30th Annual Professional Women’s Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th at 11:00 am at the Roanoke First United Methodist Church Mc Donald Family Life Center. Tickets previously purchased and tables reserved for the Table Decorating Contest will be honored.
We are currently working on re-scheduling an Active Shooter Workshop for Wadley and Woodland, and a Self Defense Workshop. Please stay connected to the Chamber with Facebook at Randolph County Chamber of Commerce and the website (rancococ@teleclipse.net) for more information.
The Randolph County Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank our community and our membership for their continued support and encouragement as we make date changes. It is our hope that the rescheduled dates and the dangers of the COVID-19 virus will be subsided to a level that we will once again be permitted to have large gatherings to occur in our county.
Please take a moment to let us know if you have any questions regarding any of the upcoming scheduled events. You can reach the Chamber office at 334-863-6612, 334-863-1402 or rancococ@teleclipse.net.
