History / Purpose
The Randolph County Chamber or Commerce was formed in 1989. The Chamber is a voluntary member-driven organization made up of individuals, businesses, churches, industries, professionals and governmental entities that jointly seek to advance economic growth, civic achievement, industrial expansion and the well being of Randolph County.
The Chamber maintains a professional office to serve the public relations functions for its membership and clients. The Chamber is the recognized source for statistical data, business activity and tourism information. The office maintains maps, brochures, data and networks with other sources to meet any benefit both directly and in-directly from referrals and interest generated through the office.
The Chamber of Commerce promotes a healthy business climate for existing industries and businesses. The Chamber creates a forum where common problems and/or opportunities such as employment, education, infrastructure, transportation, marketing, environment and other issues are addressed through formal programs as well as the informal membership network.
