Welcome To Randolph County!

Located in the heart of East Central Alabama, Randolph County sits upon a myriad of natural beauty, historic sites, with economic and entrepreneurial opportunities.  Strategically located between Birmingham and Atlanta, our four towns, Roanoke, Wadley, Wedowee and Woodland, each with their own character and charm, offer an array of economic and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Home to scenic Lake Wedowee, our area offers many varied recreational activities. You can enjoy boating, kayaking, a laid-back float down the beautiful Tallapoosa River or picnic at Flat Rock Park. During your time in Randolph County, don’t forget to visit the three birding sites on the Piedmont Plateau Birding Trail, enjoy the southern cooking, barbeque, antique shopping, and the uniqueness of the area. Come discover Randolph County and the treasures hidden at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
